Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information I collect when you visit drconniecheung.com, join my email list, register for an event, apply to a program, or enroll, and how that information is used and protected.

This website and the EASE OS™ programs are operated by Human OS Systems LLC (“we,” “us,” or “I”), led by Dr. Connie Cheung, DPT. Questions about privacy go to [email protected].

What I collect

  • Contact details you give me: your name and email address when you request a free resource, register for an event, join a waitlist, or contact me.
  • Application answers: if you apply to a program that requires an application, the answers you submit about your credentials, practice, and goals. The application never asks for anyone’s health information, and I ask you not to include patient details.
  • Enrollment and payment details: when you purchase a program, your name, email, billing details, and purchase history. Card numbers are handled by the payment processor and are never stored by me.
  • Health questionnaire: before a live program, participants complete a short health questionnaire so I can guide each person safely. It is collected through a secured Google Workspace account, separate from my email system.
  • Technical information: like most websites, the site and its service providers automatically record basic information such as browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location. Cookies are used to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.

How I use it

  • To deliver what you asked for: free resources, event links and reminders, replays, programs, and receipts.
  • To send you teaching, podcast episodes, and updates about my programs by email. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time.
  • To review applications and decide fit for a program.
  • To guide you safely in live programs, using your health questionnaire.
  • To run, secure, and improve the website and programs, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

Who I share it with

I do not sell or rent your personal information. I share it only with the trusted service providers that run this business, and only as needed for them to do so. They currently include:

  • Kajabi (website, email, courses, and checkout)
  • Stripe and PayPal (payment processing)
  • Google Workspace (email, application forms, and health questionnaires)
  • Zoom (live sessions) and Vimeo (videos)
  • Libsyn, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube (podcast and video hosting)

I may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of participants, myself, or others.

How long I keep it

Email subscribers stay on my list until they unsubscribe. Program and purchase records are kept as long as needed for the program and for tax and accounting requirements. Health questionnaires are kept only as long as needed for the program you joined and for safety records, then deleted. Application responses are kept for up to two years.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
  • Ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. I respond within 30 days.
  • Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work without them.

If you live in a region with additional privacy rights, such as the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, you can exercise those rights the same way.

Security

I use reputable providers with industry-standard security and limit access to your information to what is needed to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website and my programs are intended for adults 18 and older. I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I update this policy, I will change the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be announced by email.
