Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use drconniecheung.com or join any EASE OS™ program, event, or community. By using the site or enrolling, you agree to them.

The site and programs are operated by Human OS Systems LLC (“we,” “us,” or “I”), led by Dr. Connie Cheung, DPT.

Education, not medical care

Everything I offer here, including free resources, live and self-paced programs, memberships, the podcast, and practitioner training, is education and guided movement. It is not physical therapy, medical care, nutrition therapy, or psychotherapy, and it does not create a provider-patient relationship. Please read the Health and Website Disclaimer, which is part of these terms.

Who can join

You must be 18 or older. Some programs require an application, a health questionnaire, or both, and I may decline or pause anyone’s participation when a program is not the right fit or not safe for them.

Your account

Keep your login private and do not share access with anyone else. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Purchases and payment plans

Prices are shown at checkout in U.S. dollars. If you choose a payment plan, you authorize each scheduled payment. If a payment fails and is not resolved within 7 days, access to the program may be paused until the balance is paid. A payment plan is a commitment to the full price of the program.

Refunds

Live group programs, such as EASE Somatics: Every live group program comes with a two-session guarantee. Attend the first two live sessions of your group. If the program isn’t right for you, email [email protected] within 48 hours after the second session ends, and you’ll receive a full refund. If you’re on a payment plan, everything you’ve paid is refunded and the remaining payments are canceled. Any included Library access ends when the refund is issued. After that 48-hour window, the program is non-refundable.
Practitioner certification: You may cancel within 14 days of enrollment for a full refund, as long as your 90-minute individual assessment hasn’t taken place. After 14 days, or once your assessment has taken place, tuition is non-refundable, and payment plans continue as scheduled. If a serious illness, injury, or family emergency interrupts your training, email me. You may pause and transfer once to the next group at no extra cost.
Digital products and the Library: because digital content is delivered immediately, these purchases are not refundable. Memberships can be canceled at any time and stop renewing at the end of the current billing period.

If I cancel a program before it begins, you receive a full refund. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. To request one, email [email protected].

Live sessions and recordings

Live sessions are recorded so participants can watch later. If you appear on camera or speak during a session, you may be included in the recording, which is shared only with that program’s participants unless you give separate permission. You may keep your camera off at any time. Please do not record, screenshot, or share sessions or other participants yourself.

Community standards

Be respectful, keep what others share private, and do not give medical advice to other participants. I may remove anyone who does not follow these standards, without a refund.

Intellectual property

EASE OS™, the Recalibration Method, the seven integration pillars, and all program content, including videos, audio, written materials, and frameworks, belong to Human OS Systems LLC and Dr. Connie Cheung. Your purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own learning. You may not copy, resell, share logins, teach the method to others, or create derivative programs from it. Practitioner certification grants specific teaching rights described in a separate certification agreement.

Your feedback and stories

If you send me a testimonial or story and give permission to share it, you allow me to use it, shortened or lightly edited and shown with your initials, on my website and in my marketing. You can withdraw that permission at any time for future use by emailing me.

Links to other sites

The site links to other services, such as podcast platforms and payment processors. I am not responsible for their content or practices.

Limitation of liability

The site and programs are provided as they are. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Human OS Systems LLC and Dr. Connie Cheung are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or programs, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the program involved. You participate in movement practices voluntarily and at your own risk, and you agree to hold us harmless from claims arising from your participation, except where the law does not allow it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts serving Fulton County, Georgia.

Changes to these terms

I may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site or a program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
